Q: What do Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, & Cyber Monday have in common?

December 1stA: They are days on which you buy things.

Each year after Thanksgiving, there is an ever-present push to purchase things!

Push back this year . . .

Be part of an event that calls on you to be altruistic. December 1st is #GivingTuesday. Let me be upfront: you won’t find any door-busting specials. Instead, you’ll find yourself giving the gift of yourself or the gift of a donation, joining thousands of other people giving up their time and money for worthy causes.

#GivingTuesday is a day to celebrate generosity. When donating money or time, be proud of your selfless actions by sharing your giving story on social media. So join in by using #GivingTuesday, #unselfie, and #MyGivingStory!

Omaha Health Expo 2015

Thank you to everyone who went to the Omaha Health Expo and stopped at the HELP Adult Services’ booth. It was a great opportunity to introduce HELP Adult Services to people unfamiliar with our programs.

Also, thank you to everyone who stopped at the HELP booth to share with the staff how much the programs helped them personally.
