As our population is aging, the reliance on non-professional caregivers is growing. Adults with a chronic illness are able to stay at home longer because of the generosity and selflessness of a relative, friend, neighbor, or volunteer who has become a caregiver to them.
HELP Adult Services wishes to recognize all nominated uncompensated caregivers of adults who are chronically ill and honor the Caregiver of the Year (chosen by a committee).
A free event to recognize all nominees and honor the 2013 Caregiver of the Year will be:
Tuesday, October 15th at Scott Conference Center – 64th & Pine in Omaha
Wine, Appetizers and Entertainment
Who’s eligible: Uncompensated caregivers of adults with a chronic illness. Caregivers may be a relative, friend, neighbor, or volunteer. Caregivers during the 2013 must reside in the greater Omaha/Council Bluffs metropolitan area.
